    STUD BOOK AND RECORD OF FIELD TRIALS, The Labrador Retriever Club, 1949. This is a very interesting book, much more than a list of studs, field trial winners, and Champions. This book was compiled under the auspices of Mr. C. Mackay Sanderson, on behalf of the club. There is interesting coverage of the histories of the Golden Retriever, Black Labrador Retriever, Yellow Labrador Retriever, Flat-Coated Retriever, and Curly-Coated Retriever. This book has soft boards, and is 180 pages, much of that small type and single spaced, so lots in this book. Very nice overall, 1/2" tear on spine, book tight.$50.00.
    US DOGS by G. Cornwallis-West, being the autobiography of Sambo, a Labrador. The book was published in London, 1938, and is illustrated by famous English illustrator Miss K. F. Barker. Her model was Col. John Diggle's Labrador, Whiskey. This book is from the Labrador's point of view, and is well illustrated by Barker. Nice condition, small mark bottom of book, SOLD.
